Purpose
Business Basics is an interactive workshop designed for Southeast Alaskans who are looking to launch a business. Whether you have an idea that you’re looking to turn into a business or a side project you are looking to expand, this workshop will give you the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to build a successful business that benefits our Southeast Alaskan community, environment and the economy.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome participants who are early-stage entrepreneurs and those thinking about starting a business based in Southeast Alaska and/or Sealaska shareholders or Tlingit & Haida tribal citizens regardless of location, regardless of location in the U.S.
We especially encourage applications from entrepreneurs who are Indigenous, Black, people of color, and/or who are located in rural Southeast Alaska (outside of Juneau, Ketchikan or Sitka).
